The Brightstar Story — How It All Started

The Early Years — Learning & Growing
The start wasn't easy. In the first year, there were only a few thousand registered users. But those who were there were loyal. They gave feedback, reported issues, and Brightstarplayed a direct role in improving.
When bKash integration was added in 2019, the platform's user base tripled almost overnight. That was the first major turning point. People in Bangladesh realized they could deposit and withdraw using a method they already knew and trusted — with no hassle at all.
The COVID Era and the Tech Leap
During the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020–21, demand for online entertainment in Bangladesh skyrocketed. People were stuck at home with nowhere to go for entertainment. Brightstar's services became a real comfort for many people during that time.
It was right at this moment that Brightstar rebuilt its app from the ground up. Data Saver Mode, offline score cache, and Bangla voice notifications were all added in direct response to user requests. By the end of 2021, the user base had surpassed five hundred thousand.

Second, more local sports will be covered — kabaddi, handball, shooting. Third, a lighter version of the Brightstar app will be released that runs smoothly even on 2G networks.
